Product Details
Antler Reishi (Ganoderma multipileum) grain spawn grown on organic millet in our HEPA-filtered cleanroom facility in Brantford, Ontario.
Antler Reishi is a medicinal mushroom prized for its distinctive branching, coral-like antler growth form. Unlike standard Reishi which forms fan-shaped caps, Antler Reishi is cultivated in high-CO2 environments to produce beautiful reddish-brown antler fingers with white growing tips.
Growing Notes: Antler Reishi is a slower-growing species compared to oyster mushrooms — expect 3-6 months from inoculation to harvest. Thrives on supplemented hardwood sawdust blocks. Requires high humidity and elevated CO2 to maintain the antler form. Primarily grown for medicinal extracts (tinctures, teas, powders) rather than culinary use.
Medicinal Properties: Rich in triterpenes and polysaccharides. Traditionally used in Chinese medicine for immune support, stress adaptation, and overall vitality.
