Product Details

Pink Oyster Commercial Liquid Culture (200ml)

Bring the eye-catching appeal of pink oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus djamor) to your commercial lineup with this 200ml liquid culture jar. Pink oysters are a market standout — their vivid flamingo-pink colour draws customers instantly, and their fast growth cycle keeps production moving. This jar provides lab-isolated genetics in a commercial format built for repeated sterile draws. Made in Canada at our CFIA-licensed facility in Brantford, Ontario.

What's Included

  • One 200ml mason jar with live pink oyster mycelium in sterile honey-water medium
  • Self-healing injection port for clean, repeated draws
  • Synthetic filter cap for gas exchange
  • Lab-isolated Pleurotus djamor genetics — vibrant colour and aggressive colonization

How to Use

Draw culture through the self-healing injection port with a sterile syringe. One 200ml jar provides enough volume to inoculate a full production cycle of grain jars or grow bags.

  • Wipe the injection port with isopropyl alcohol before each draw
  • Use a sterile 18-gauge needle and syringe
  • Inject 2-5ml into each grain jar or spawn bag
  • Swirl gently before drawing to distribute mycelium evenly

Species Profile

Pink oyster (Pleurotus djamor) is a tropical species that thrives in warm fruiting conditions (18-30°C). Its striking pink colour fades slightly when cooked but delivers a meaty texture and mild flavour that chefs love. Pink oysters are among the fastest-fruiting mushroom species, often producing the first flush within days of exposure to fruiting conditions. They perform best on straw or supplemented hardwood sawdust.

Why Commercial Size

The 200ml jar ensures consistent genetics across every batch you produce. One jar handles an entire production run, and the self-healing injection port allows dozens of sterile draws — far more efficient than purchasing individual syringes. Keep your margins strong and your genetics uniform.

Complete your pink oyster production setup with our spawn cases and commercial grow bags.
