A premium manure-based substrate blend designed for dung-loving mushroom species. Individually sealed 5 lb bags, each pressure-sterilized at 15 PSI for 2.5 hours in our CFIA-licensed facility and packed in commercial-grade autoclavable grow bags with 0.5 micron filter patches.

What's Inside Each Bag

• Composted cow manure — aged and processed for consistent nutrient content
• Coconut coir — excellent moisture retention, naturally contamination-resistant
• Vermiculite — improves aeration and water-holding capacity
• Gypsum — provides calcium and sulfur, prevents substrate clumping

• Ready to inoculate with grain spawn — just open, mix in spawn, and seal

How to Use

1. Work in a clean environment (still air box or flow hood recommended)
2. Break up your grain spawn inside its sealed bag
3. Open the substrate bag, add spawn at 10-20% by weight
4. Mix thoroughly, seal, and incubate at 24-27°C (75-80°F)
5. Full colonization in 7-14 days, then introduce fruiting conditions

Coprophilous (dung-loving) species that thrive on rich, nutrient-dense substrates. Each bag fills one standard 54-66qt monotub at proper substrate depth — perfect for growers running multiple tubs simultaneously.
