Product Details

White Oyster Commercial Liquid Culture (200ml)

Add white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) to your commercial production lineup with this 200ml liquid culture jar. White oysters are a market favourite thanks to their clean appearance and mild flavour, and this jar delivers lab-isolated genetics ready for high-volume inoculation. Made in Canada at our CFIA-licensed facility in Brantford, Ontario.

What's Included

  • One 200ml mason jar with live white oyster mycelium in sterile honey-water medium
  • Self-healing injection port for sterile, repeated draws
  • Synthetic filter cap for gas exchange during storage
  • Lab-isolated Pleurotus ostreatus genetics — reliable and production-tested

How to Use

Draw culture from the jar through the self-healing injection port using a sterile syringe. Each jar provides enough culture for a full production batch of grain jars or grow bags.

  • Alcohol-wipe the injection port before every draw
  • Use a sterile 18-gauge needle and syringe to withdraw culture
  • Inject 2-5ml into each sterilized grain jar or spawn bag
  • Swirl the jar gently before drawing to distribute mycelium

Species Profile

White oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus) produces elegant clusters of pale, cream-coloured caps with a delicate flavour profile. It prefers slightly warmer fruiting temperatures than blue or black oysters, making it a strong choice for farms that maintain warmer grow rooms or operate in summer months. White oysters colonize quickly and fruit generously on hardwood sawdust, straw, and other cellulose-rich substrates.

Why Commercial Size

A single 200ml jar replaces dozens of individual culture syringes and ensures genetic uniformity across your entire spawn production run. The self-healing injection port supports many sterile draws without compromising the culture, streamlining your inoculation process and reducing contamination risk.

Pair with our white oyster spawn cases and commercial grow bags for a complete production system.
