Everything you need for mycology lab work — from blank agar plates in 8 media types to colonized master cultures across 26+ species. Produced in-house at our CFIA-licensed facility in Brantford, Ontario.
8 media types — from the gold standard LME to specialty formulations like activated charcoal and sawdust preservation agar. Each sleeve contains 6 sterile, pre-poured cups ready for isolations, transfers, cloning, or spore germination. No pressure cooker needed.
Making your own agar plates requires a pressure cooker, precise measurements, sterile technique, and patience — and one mistake means contamination. Our pre-poured plates are produced in a controlled environment at our CFIA-licensed facility, giving you consistent, sterile media every time. Skip the prep and get straight to the mycology. 6-pack sleeves at $5/plate, or save 60% with a case of 60 at $2/plate.
Lab-isolated, fully colonized master cultures on agar — the closest thing to a slant you can buy. Each plate contains vigorous, verified mycelium ready for transfers to grain, liquid culture, or additional plates. Start your own culture bank or go straight to commercial production.
13 varieties from cold-hardy Blue Steel to tropical Golden Sun. The most versatile genus in cultivation.

The original OG, the denser HE-1 isolate, and the rare Coral Comb Tooth. Cascading spines, exceptional flavor, and widely researched functional properties.
Industry-standard warm and cold weather strains plus our proprietary NL-BRUSH07 isolate. The world's most commercially cultivated gourmet mushroom.

A master culture is a fully colonized agar plate containing lab-isolated, verified mycelium — the genetic foundation of your entire grow operation. Unlike multispore syringes, master cultures give you a known, consistent strain that performs predictably. Transfer to grain spawn, liquid culture, or additional plates to scale your production. Each plate is produced in our CFIA-licensed facility with sterile technique and verified genetics. Store sealed in a refrigerator for 6-12 months, or transfer to our Sawdust Preservation Agar for 2-3+ years of storage.
Curated sets of 6 different master cultures selected for specific growing conditions, skill levels, or purposes. Each pack contains one plate of each species — the fastest way to build a diverse culture library. $60 per collection.
Agar is where serious mushroom cultivation begins. Whether you're isolating a wild clone, cleaning up a multispore syringe, or preserving a high-performing strain for years, agar plates are the tool that gives you precision and control. Every commercial mushroom farm in the world relies on agar-based culture work.
