How to Use

Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) is a polypore mushroom recognized by its colourful, fan-shaped caps that grow in overlapping tiers on dead hardwood. It is among the most studied medicinal fungi, valued for its polysaccharide content — particularly PSK and PSP. While not a culinary mushroom, it is widely used to make teas and extracts. Turkey tail colonizes hardwood substrates and can also be grown on supplemented sawdust blocks.

Storage & Shelf Life

Refrigerate at 2-8°C until ready to use. The culture remains viable for several months with proper storage, but we recommend inoculating within 60 days for the best colonization performance. Bring the syringe to room temperature before use.
