Start with the maker’s instructions
GroCycle’s oyster care page explains misting beneath the cut flaps, choosing a spot and starting another crop. If your box says Lion’s Mane or another variety, use that variety’s supplied instructions rather than the oyster routine.

For a GroCycle oyster box
GroCycle’s oyster care page recommends indirect light away from heaters. When misting, briefly lift the cut flaps to wet the opening, then let them fall back. Its FAQ calls for at least twice-daily spraying and a soak at the beginning of each crop. Follow its supplied opening and soaking directions; the Nature Lion soak routine is different.

Keep one care routine
Follow the cutting, soaking and misting directions for your exact kit. Don’t combine them with Nature Lion’s boxed-kit opening steps. Similar-looking boxes can contain blocks prepared differently.
Write down the day you started and keep the kit somewhere you’ll remember to check. If the printed directions are unclear, ask the maker before changing the cut or removing more packaging.
