Stage names differ among growers, but a useful kit record can follow arrival/storage, activation, recovery, hyphal knots or primordia, pinning, rapid fruit-body expansion, harvest, rest, and a later flush. Some stages are subtle and species-specific.
- Arrival: preserve the sealed baseline
