Start with the maker’s instructions
The Spray & Grow FAQ includes opening the box and bag, watering, harvest and repeat crops. If you have a different North Spore fruiting block or outdoor product, choose that product’s instructions instead.

For a Spray & Grow box
North Spore’s FAQ says to keep its Spray & Grow block in the bag and box, open the front panel and leave the plastic flaps attached after making the opening. Use its variety-specific booklet for watering. This orientation does not apply to all of its bulk blocks or outdoor products.

Keep one care routine
Follow the cutting, soaking and misting directions for your exact kit. Don’t combine them with Nature Lion’s boxed-kit opening steps. Similar-looking boxes can contain blocks prepared differently.
Write down the day you started and keep the kit somewhere you’ll remember to check. If the printed directions are unclear, ask the maker before changing the cut or removing more packaging.

When mushrooms start growing
