How to Grow Your Lion’s Mane Mushrooms
This mushroom grow kit is designed for total beginners. Here is everything you need to do:
- Open — Cut an X-shaped slit in the bag to give the mushroom room to grow.
- Mist — Spray the opening with water 2–3 times daily to maintain humidity.
- Harvest — In 10–14 days, your Lion’s Mane will be a full, fluffy globe ready to pick.
After the first harvest, keep misting to encourage additional flushes. Most growers enjoy two or more harvests from each kit.
What You’ll Harvest

Worked pretty good. In the winter my house gets pretty dry so I grabbed a small clear tote with a lid and put both kits in there and spritzed the walls of the tote. Progress definitely improved after that. I didn't weigh what I pulled off but I would say it was between 1-1.5lbs per kit. Second flush seems to be coming along very well. I think next time I might just open the top of the bags for the first flush and then close the top after harvest and cut the side of the bag for second. Seemed the top of the block in both kits was ready to go sooner then the sides. But it was my first time ever growing anything like this so all in all I'm calling it a success! Cut em into steak like slabs and seasoned em up as if it was steak and it was quite tasty. Next flush probably try a tincture, we'll see.
