How to Grow Your Pink Oyster Mushrooms
This mushroom grow kit could not be easier to use. Here is the entire process:
- Open — Cut a slit in the bag to expose the colonized substrate.
- Mist — Spray with water 2–3 times per day. Pink Oysters love warmth and humidity.
- Harvest — In as little as 5–7 days, your stunning pink clusters will be ready to pick.
After your first flush, keep misting for additional harvests. Pink Oysters are generous producers and many growers enjoy multiple flushes from a single kit.
What You’ll Harvest
Pink Oyster mushrooms are a culinary adventure. Their delicate, ruffled caps are stunning raw, but the real magic happens when you cook them. Seared in a hot pan with oil or butter, they become crispy and develop a rich, bacon-like flavour that makes them a favourite for plant-based cooking. Add them to tacos, stir-fries, grain bowls, or enjoy them simply on toast. Their striking colour fades when cooked, but the incredible flavour more than compensates.

The pink Oysters were fun to grow and very quick, open box to ready to eat in about 10 days. I also grew black oysters, which were about 4 days slower to be ready. Sadly I tried to keep the pink Oysters in the fridge for the 4 days and they dried out on me. If your going to grow both at same time, start black oysters 4-5 days before pinks and they should both be ready at the same time. My second flush of pinks should be ready in about 2 days. Tip: Be sure to place something about 1/2 inch thick u Der front of box as the mushrooms get very front heavy and mine fell of the table because of the weight. They were fine but try to be proactive. Lots of fun and once the pinks start to sprout, you can almost see them grow in front of your eyes. I will be ordering more after my flushes are done. Great company to deal with.
